Urban transportation systems are rapidly evolving to accommodate new modes of transportation – car and bike sharing, transportation network companies (TNCs, like Uber and Lyft), electric vehicles, scooters, and some testing of autonomous vehicles. How might these impact transit oriented development (TOD), especially in communities of color and low-income communities? How can we ensure that the benefits and costs are shared equitably?
